After dinner in the Convoy area, I decided to stop by Tokyo Central & Main to grab some goodies before heading home. This location is smaller than your typical Tokyo Central, spread across two nearby buildings. One building mainly houses groceries and snacks, while the other offers a variety of Japanese items. Of course, I couldn't leave without buying my favorite sushi, candies, and other usual treats. They have an excellent selection of cut sashimi and both Japanese and domestic wagyu beef. The store is clean and well-organized, and the staff are very helpful. Tokyo Central & Main is a great spot to find authentic Japanese products in San Diego.

Pretty cool Japanese figures store! There are many animation character stuffs here! It reminds me of Tokyo a little bit! If you like to get something Japanese stuff, I believe this is a good store to have a look at!! Pretty cool
Plenty of "kawaii" items, cookware, plates, bento, figurines, plush, and claw machines to play after you shop. Fun store to stop by and a look around, there's two markets in the same parking lot as this one that you should check out to.
I visited this place a couple years back and thought of it as mostly a candy/toy store. I saw some recent reviews and thought it was a completely new store, but was pleasantly surprised with it being the same store with a wider selection of gifts, toys, skincare, daily necessities, and more. I remembered it having a small corner for gunpla, so I was excited to see they expanded that corner to a whole section (almost 1/4 of the store). They have shelves of gundam, some were built and displayed! Even if you're not interested, I think it would be a fun experience to visit. This store will most likely have something you'll like.
It had been a few years since I last visited this store. The name has changed, but the merchandise has fairly remained the same except that now there were more anime merch and beauty products. My daughter and I got lost in the store for nearly 2 hours; inspecting and reinspecting everything we liked. We loved seeing items from our favorite anime, loved all the adorable housewares and trinkets. We definitely left with more items than we needed, but absolutely had no regrets. A return visit is imminent.
My friends love coming here for all their anime needs. Parking is relatively easy. Learned the hard way that this location does not have food. They have a huge selection of plush tshirt and merch. Would recommend coming if u were looking for something interesting to browse or gifts for people
